Using expressive art therapy is a wonderful way to open the doors of communication with loved ones who are otherwise silenced. Through Art Therapy we explore the heart and mind and bring unspoken stories, feelings and love to the surface. Customized sessions for individuals or groups are available.

Joye Platford is an artist, a teacher, a minister and a cancer survivor with a repertoire of degrees; a Bachelor in Education and Theology and a Masters of Divinity. Working in community service for over 20 years, Joye has had the pleasure of working with many individuals and groups.

As a cancer patient, Joye turned to her art as part of the treatment and healing process. As a cancer survivor, she now works with others, sharing the positive benefits of art therapy while completing her degree in art therapy.

Strengthened by a life of stories, education and experiences, Joye is available for speaking engagements that:

  • Explore the benefits of art for health and wellness

  • Inspire individuals who are facing life altering illness
